Key dates for businesses in Poland

TaxesHLBC

The company calendar: advance payments, returns, financial statements, CRBR. Monthly and annual deadlines.

Introduction

A Polish company has fixed monthly and annual deadlines. Being late costs interest and, in some cases, penalties.

How it works

  • by the 15th of the month: ZUS contributions
  • by the 20th: CIT advance payments and payroll tax
  • by the 25th: VAT and JPK_V7
  • by the end of March: CIT-8 return for the previous year (for a calendar financial year)
  • by the end of June: approval of the financial statements, then 15 days to file them with the KRS
  • within 14 days of a change: CRBR update

Why it matters and what is important

Deadlines are usually monitored by the accounting firm, but responsibility lies with the management board. For companies with a management board abroad, we keep a shared calendar of deadlines.
