01How is the commission calculated?
From 1% to 2% of the property price, depending on the value and complexity of the transaction, but not less than €2 990. You pay the minimum upfront as a deposit and the rest at the notarial deed.
02Can a foreign national buy an apartment in Poland?
Usually yes. Some buyers from outside the EEA and Switzerland need a permit from the Ministry of Interior (MSWiA). We check this before the preliminary agreement.
03What language do you work in?
We correspond, hold meetings and consultations in English, and in Polish with clients from Poland. Official documents are filed in Polish, with an English translation.
04When do the timelines start?
Timelines and costs apply once we have received the complete set of documents needed to handle the matter. Formalities in Poland require time and precision. A single error in a document can delay a matter by several weeks. That is why we first collect and check the complete set of documents, and only then file the applications.
05How do I pay?
By bank transfer against a pro forma invoice. Card and BLIK payments via an online gateway are in preparation. Details on the Payments and VAT page.
06Do you add VAT?
Companies from other EU countries with an EU VAT number: no Polish VAT (reverse charge). Companies and individuals from Poland and private individuals from the EU: +23% VAT. Companies outside the EU: usually no Polish VAT.
