Sole proprietorship in Poland for foreign nationals

CompanyHLBC

Who from abroad can register a sole proprietorship in CEIDG and when a company is the better choice.

A sole proprietorship in Poland may be run by European Union citizens and by foreign nationals with certain residence rights, e.g. holders of some residence cards. Registration in CEIDG is free of charge and takes place online.

A sole trader is liable with all of their assets and pays ZUS contributions. At a larger scale and with partners, a sp. z o.o. is often the better choice.
